Hey Everyone,

Ben here with some updates and reminders. I'm still working on cadence and the best way to handle more "urgent" updates so please reach out with any suggestions.

Developments

ICE out of Wayne County

On Saturday, March 14, ICE kidnapped two of our neighbors on W. Main St. in Sodus.

FLPU will support FLXRRN in a rally & march on Sunday 3/22 starting @ 4PM.

Response to SURJ Endorsement in Maine

You may have seen the news, but if not, SURJ National has endorsed Graham Platner in the Maine Senate race. Graham has fascist roots and has not shown accountability for this. SURJ National did not consult with Chapters and Circles on this endorsement. SURJ National did not consult with Maine members on their stance. Member objections to this endorsement were pushed aside. The Finger Lakes Peoples Union wholly condemns SURJ National and their endorsement of this individual. For more information and specific, unaddressed issues, please read this protest letter written by a member from Portland, Oregon. FLPU will distance itself from SURJ National and will work to repair any damages caused by this.
